British Pop-Rock band The Vamps – consisting of James McVey, Brad Simpson, Tristan Evans and Connor Ball – tour South Africa in 2018 in support of their new material as well as performing all their popular hits. The Vamps are one of “the UK’s biggest exports in music”, with five top 10 hits, prestigious tour support slots with the likes of Taylor Swift, McFly and Austin Mahone, and 450 million views across YouTube and VEVO.
The Vamps are a fine example of how social media has brought like-minded individuals together and propelled acts to national and international stardom.
